Back in Colorado in the early 90's, I was looking to get out of the corporate "rat race".  I had the opportunity to help a friend expand his flooring business.  So after learning the business inside out, I decided to start my own company.

I was able to grow that company and open a beautiful showroom in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.  There we had 15-20 employees and provided all types of products and services in the flooring industry from carpet and hardwood to ceramic and natural stone tiles. We also had interior designers on site to help our custom home clients with choices in cabinets, counter tops and custom window covering selections.

After the economic downturn in 2008, I decided to scale the company back to just a few hardwood flooring crews.  We did a lot of custom border and inlay work over the next few years as well as the go to company for refinishing hardwood floors.

As my 2 sons got a little older, they decided they wanted to follow in my footsteps and eventually take over the business. Along the way they both found different passions and have become very successful in their own fields of work.

So for about the last 10 years or so I've gone back to a one man show like it was at the beginning.   I am truly happy with my decision as I am a hands on type of person and love the work.  I think that the enjoyment that I get from my work really reflects in the quality of the final product. 

My wife and I have  recently relocated to Benton County, Tennessee on the banks of the Tennessee River and absolutely love it here. We're now looking to establish the business in this area and continue to provide outstanding service to the community for years to come.
